It's a boy

We went to the doctor today and found out we are having a boy!!! We are very exited and happy. The girls are so involved in the pregancy, we went with them to the doctor and they had so much fun seeing the baby move and wave at the camera. Arianna and Rachel want to kiss my belly every day and talk to the baby. Arianna even picked up a name for the boy..."Jungle", we let her have fun but told her we would think of other names and then decide. We feel so bless and happy to see our family grow and are exited for the experience of raising a boy...a whole new thing for us.

Some Cute Pics

WE LOVE TO DRESS UP

Arianna and especially Rachel love to dress up. Rachel has an obsession with putting stuff on her head. The flowery thing on her head, is her blanket, which she has named Beckee. The other stuff on her head is a ace bandage.

RACHEL'S FIRST ATTEMPT TO USE THE TOILET

It was a success!

My in laws in the house of the sick

We were so exited my in laws were coming to AZ. The beginning of the week (Monday) they were going to come Arianna and Rachel got sick. By the time they arrived (Thursday) I was sick, and what started as a virus turned into the worse sinus infection, I could not get up off the couch, a day later Rob got sick, which completed the whole family. The interesting thing is that the day after my in laws arrived my mother in law got sick too. Not with the same stuff we had, but with some back problems so she could not get up that whole day. Sick and all, we had a great time talking and sharing our sickness together, we also got to watch general conference between sleeping and watching, this time not from laziness but from how sick we were.

My Brother's Visit to AZ

During the month of March, my brother David, his wife, Mayi, and their kids Danny,Gabriela, and Santiago, came to visit. We had a great time going to losts of different places and spending time together. Here are some pics.

A White Christmas

Finally I come back to the blog. It took me a while since I did not have any pics to post because I lost my camera in UT, at a movie theater. I was devastating. So my mother in law sent me some pics that I could post. I am sad, because we had so many cute pics with both of our families. We had an amazing time in UT. We spent Christmas with Rob's family and New Years with my family, both were memorable. Sorry, I only have pics of us in the snow, better than nothing right? Here is our white Christmas.

Thanksgiving Break in California

This year, we decided to spend Thanksgiving with my sister Karen and her family in California. We had a really fun time. On thanksgiving day Rob and Ryan played in a ward turkey bowl which ended up being pretty muddy since it rained the whole night before, but they had a lot of fun. We had thanksgiving dinner at Ryan's aunts home where we met up with Ryan's parents and sister. During the same week we had the chance to go to Sea World twice where Arianna, Rachel and their cuisin Kianna, had a fun time watching the Believe Show with Shamu, the dolphin show, and petting the Manta Rays. They also went to see the Polar Bears and the Beluga whales among other amazing Sea Animals. We are grateful for the creations of God. We also got to see some of our dear friends Claudia and Ira, Justin and Jen, and wished we could have had more time to visit Chris and Mel and their beautiful Malia. The girls had a blast with their cousing Kiannita, and got to play and get very wet at Sea World. Now when we mention Sea World Rachel says "Fin (delfin)Mojo!"(The Dolphin got me wet!). My sister and I got to see Twilight and to have some "sister time". Thank you Karen, Ry and Kiannita for your love and all you did to make us feel at home. We love you guys

The Day I Became an American Citizen

On November 19Th of 2008, I became an American citizen. The sworn in ceremony took place at the Phoenix Stadium, where the Super Bowl took place this year. Can you believe how important I am? Incredible! 2178 people became US citizens that day. It was an emotional and special event. To be adopted by the country that has given me so many blessings and opportunities. I also love that I can keep both my Colombian and American citizen ships. Great! That is what we do at our home, we try to bring the best of both cultures and we teach our girls to honor, respect and love, both. I don't have a lot of pics, because the camera run out of batteries, even though we had charged it the night before (haha). To celebrate the event, Rob, Arianna, Rachel, and I ate at the Cheese Cake Factory:)
