Fun Crafts Ideas to do with your Kids

Materials and Instructions

Beans, Lentils, Rice, peas, or whatever you have. We used beans and rice today.
Print the silhouette of an animal. We picked a bird.
Acrylic paint or tempera paint
Apply glue to the silhouette you picked and let the kids fill it with the grains you have. Let them make, trees, flowers, clouds, a sun, whatever they want. Let them explore and create.
Press the grains with your fingers so they stick to the glue. Then carefully paint with whatever colors the kids pick, and then let dry. We had a blast, and the girls loved it.

PJs Made out of old T-Shirts

What you need

An old T-Shirt(the girls thought using one of my old ones would be fun)
Fabric Neon paint
Ask your kids what they want to paint. We downloaded some pics of what they wanted to paint from the internet and then copied those. Some of the other drawings the kids just made them up.Draw it on the fabric with a pencil, chalk, or sewing color pencil.
Trace it with the fabric paint.
Let dry for 6 hours or till dry.
I helped the kids draw some and then let them do it themselves.
Have fun!

Sooo, I Got Braces!!!

Ok. This is not a fun post. I just want it for my journal record. I got braces, today Actually. I can't chew because I have some composite bumps on my molars, so I don't brake the bottom braces. You know how much I love food. So it is such a torture for me not being able to chew and savor yummy fruits and vegetables, a good piece of grilled chicken, my beloved almonds, bread with butter and honey, granola bars, even a simple bowl of cereal, etc. Today I ate all my dinner, Lemon Pepper Tilapia, veggies ( I had to cook my salad), and jasmin rice, smashed with a fork like a baby. It was no fun to put it in my mouth and then swallow it after smashing with my tong against the palate. Oh, no! horrific. But, oh well, I guess its all for a good cause. Here blog. I have a pic to show the future generations. I have to have them for a year. I have a mouth full!

Special Moments

Last weekend the kids and I had a few days by ourselves. We took some pics together.

Mini Golf

We went mini golfing on Saturday. It was fun till Beckam jumped in the water (about 6 inches deep) that was around one of the wholes and then made a scene because he wanted to run where ever, and keep jumping into the water. We had fun and ate ice cream mmm. My favorite, soft vanilla Ice cream dipped in chocolate. MMMM!
