Arianna Turned 5 (Oct 4th)

A few days before her B-day. Arianna decided she wanted a lady bug party and a piñata. I tried to find one, and decided to go ahead and make it myself. I think it turned out pretty cute. My Mom also made this amazing lady bug cake and our friends who came really made the party fun. We had a scavenger hunt, a sack race, and the piñata. Arianna was so happy, she kept saying how this had been the best B-day party ever.

Visit to Chicago for Rob's B-Day

Mid September, we had a the chance to visit Chicago as a family. My parents came as well and we had a great time. We visited the Aquarium, Millenium Park, The Sears Tower, the Field Museum, The Pier, and along with it, discover this little wonderful breakfast place, The Yolk. While we were there, breakfast became our favorite meal. If you ever have the chance to go, I highly recommended, its on Michigan Ave right across the park in front of the Aquarium. One funny thing, was taking the sub with a stroller and three kids. Of course people looked at us as if we were crazy, I thought that was funny. Thank you Papi and Mami for great memories and for all of your love and support during your visit to Iowa. We love you.

Nauvoo with my parents Sept 2010

We live about 35 minutes from Nauvoo, IL. This has been such an amazing experience for our family. Our testimonies of the Joseph Smith as the prophet of the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, have grown. We have acquire deeper admiration for the sacrifice the pioneers made and have learned so much about the history of the Church in this amazing place. Even the girls have felt a greater meaning of the word "pioneer". Little Rachel says to me all the time: "When I grow up I want to be, a Mom, an astronaut, and a pioneer. I love it! As you can see in the pictures, my parents came to visit us and we had a great time going to Nauvoo.

Arianna Started Preschool in Iowa (August, 2010)

Arianna started preschool four days a week. She has loved making new friends and having cooking class, PE, music, etc. It has been a good thing for her and it has helped me spend more one on one time with Rachel and Beckam. We love to see Arianna again when she comes back from school and hearing her stories and events of the day.

A little Summary

I have not blogged for ever, and so many important things have happened this year. So along with keeping a journal and writing for the family news letter, I have abandoned blogging. I decided before the end of the year I will, little by little, write a summary of important events this year in our family. So here I go.

Move to Iowa

Right after graduation, we packed and left Arizona to come to Iowa. We stopped in Utah along the way for two weeks. Steve, Rob's bother got married and we also had the opportunity to spend time with family.

Adorable Beckam at 7 and 1/2 months

ROB'S GRADUATION (June, 2010)

Rob graduated after four long years of dental school. It was a great learning experience and we are happy to be done and to look ahead at all the things to come. We are happy both of our parents were able to be there for the graduation. My parents just had finished their mission in the Bogota, Colombia temple in May.
Graduation day was crazy, Rachel threw up in the car on the way to graduation; Arianna got stung by a bee two days before and her whole right eye was swollen, I almost did not make it to see Rob receive his diploma because Beckam started screaming, which is rare. Long story short, we survived and are happy we got to see him graduate.

Founders Ball was a blast, we had a great time.

Beckam two and a half months

Its been a while since I've post anything. As you can see Beckam has gotten a lot bigger. He is the sweetest little boy, he loves to smile and he is very patient. The Lord knew I needed Beckam to be this kind of baby, he has to be since his sisters are very demanding and adorable at the same time. They love him to death and have been really loving to him. Not to mentioned they have been growing up more and more by being older sisters to baby Beckam. We are so happy to have him in our family, he has brought so much joy in our lives. Being a mother is the best thing that has happened to me. I love it, with its challenges and tests, I would not change this experience for anything in the world, since nothing has given me the deep feelings of joy and the sense of meaning that I feel. I just know the Lord knew that it was through our families that we would reach our biggest joys, and reach our greatest potential.
