The Great Bridge River Race

I have been training for four months for the Utah Valley Marathon which will take place June 11th. Last week Rob brought me a flier advertising a 6 mile race. Since my sister was going to be here to pick up her kids, we would have someone to watch our kids, so decided to go ahead and run it. We had a blast and surprise, surprise, I came in first for the women over all category. Wow! I was even surprised. It was fun though. The next day I was in the news paper, I was not planing to be, but it was fun to have that to show my kids one day or Grandkids, that their Mom/Grandma was made it to the news paper hahaha. They might not know what a news paper is by then.
